A stay in this pretty village is the ideal base from which to enjoy the delights of the Suffolk Heritage Coast at nearby Aldeburgh and Thorpeness, as well as the wide range of activities on the doorstep at Snape Maltings.
We have a number of coastal cottages in both Suffolk or Norfolk for you to choose from, or if you would prefer something in a town setting, then you might like to consider the pretty towns of Aldeburgh or Southwold.
The converted Maltings is home to an eclectic range of gift shops, art galleries, a cafe and a pub serving excellent food, as well as the famous Concert Hall, which offers musical events and festivals throughout the year.
There are some stunning walks in the area and the Sailors' Path, which links Snape with the coast at Aldeburgh, crosses reedbeds and woodland, following the route of the River Alde. Eating your takeaway fish 'n' chips on the sea wall at Aldeburgh and spending an afternoon on the boating lake at Thorpeness are, of course, obligatory!
