With over 15 years’ experience in letting homes across the Suffolk coast and countryside, we understand the market and work closely with our owners to maximise the letting potential of every holiday home. We have extensive knowledge of the area with everyone in the team living locally. Our holiday lets currently span the East Suffolk countryside and coastline taking in Southwold, Walberswick, Aldeburgh and the surrounding villages.

Heritage Hideaways was set up as an independent, family business in 2000 and remains so today with directors, Marion and Philip, personally involved on a day-to-day basis. Our friendly team has a hands-on, personal approach to working with all of our owners and guests.
The team knows each of our owners by name and regularly visits all of the holiday homes in our portfolio. We pride ourselves on providing the best customer service and advice to our guests to ensure they find the perfect ‘Heritage Hideaway’ and greet many of them on arrival in our Southwold office.

Our overarching aim is to deliver the best possible occupancy rates for your property and our marketing strategy works to drive exactly that. We use a combination of online channels (websites, social media, email etc.) and offline channels (brochures, local and national magazines etc) to showcase your property and increase awareness of the Heritage Hideaways brand among people searching for holiday cottages.
We have a strong brand presence locally with a flagship office in the heart of Southwold that people can drop into if they choose and high street window displays in Southwold and Aldeburgh.
Our website has been designed to offer a natural and simple customer journey with a 24/7,365-days a year secure online booking and payment gateway. We invest considerable time and effort to ensure the website challenges the competition and features among the highest positions in Google (and other search engines). Our Marketing Team continually researches and responds to the changing needs of our customers, using many different tactics including tailored email campaigns, social media and “paid search” adverts to create maximum visibility for your property.
4) We offer competitive terms
Our flexible contracts are designed to ensure that your holiday home is a good investment as well as a second home that you can enjoy.
We offer two contract options: a Marketing Contract where we market your holiday home and provide you with bookings but you as the owner, organise cleaning, laundry or maintenance, or a fully Managed Contract, where you can rest assured that we will organise all of this for you under our property management services.
If you decide to join us, we will discuss your individual requirements and work closely with you to maximise your bookings.
