Dunwich Holiday Cottages

A holiday cottage in this seaside village is the perfect base from which to explore the extensive heathlands and tranquil beaches of the area: a real haven for walkers, cyclists and birdwatchers.

This quiet coastal village offers a peaceful refuge, yet with a wealth of things to do and places to eat on the doorstep. There's an excellent pub, a popular beach cafe known for its fish 'n' chips, tea-rooms, Friary ruins, a Museum and plant nursery. It is the perfect base to explore Aldeburgh, Southwold or Thorpeness

But, of course, the main draw is Dunwich Heath, a dramatic and beautiful coastal habitat, criss-crossed with footpaths and bridleways. If you are lucky, you may see a Dartford Warbler or the odd seal basking on the beach. If twitching (birdwatching) is your thing, then RSPB Minsmere is also close by. View our other Coastal Cottages or if you prefer something located in a more rural setting, then a Countryside cottage may suit you more.
