Wantage House reflects a relaxed and sunny ambience for family holidays where bicycles are used more than a car and the beach is the focus of entertainment. A beach hut is also available to rent, availability of which is guaranteed if booked with the house more than 8 weeks prior to arrival.
Wantage House has been split into ground and first floor apartments. The accommodation available is mainly on the ground floor with access to a small garden with lawn, conservatory and a large paved terrace with garden furniture overlooking the Common and with views to the sea. The ground floor accommodates the kitchen, dining and sitting rooms and study, together with the master bedroom, with en suite shower room, which has views over the common and to the sea, the family bathroom and the twin and single bedrooms. On the first floor is a twin bedroom and shower room and the last twin bedroom is on the second floor with handbasin.
Southwold has an abundance of attractions from the lovely beach and Pier, great restaurants and pubs, Adnams beer and wine, a wide variety of shops offering beautiful clothes and shoes, paintings, pottery, books and other crafts, together with a wide variety of local produce. In the wider locality there are farmers markets to investigate on Saturdays for great locally grown produce, the RSPB centre at Minsmere and extensive areas for birdwatching and walking, great trails for cycling, boating lakes, sports facilities and the beautiful Suffolk countryside to enjoy.
