The living area is small but well designed and furnished with a compact kitchen unit containing a sink, fridge and cupboard, plus a 2 ring electric hob, and a separate microwave with grill. Adjacent to the kitchen unit is the living area with dining table and a comfortable sofa, flat screen TV and DVD with Freeview now available on this TV.
The hall provides access to the downstairs WC with hand basin, under stairs storage cupboard and the turned staircase leading to the bathroom and spacious bedroom, with large window giving views on to the garden. The bathroom is lined with tongue and groove pine, with hand basin and good lighting above and a bath with shower over. The bedroom has a large bed with bedside tables and lamps, some attractive Scandanavian period cabinets and dressing table and natural wooden flooring. Small armchairs are also provided but also leave some room for a travel cot if required. There is a TV with both video and DVD and a large and eclectic collection of books. The cottage has oil fired central heating.
The cottage is on the edge of the village with views over the fields and estuary. Guests have their own South West facing 1/4 acre garden with furniture and sunken sunbathing areas and fruit trees. A South facing patio with a large table, chairs and an electrically operated awning - excellent for entertaining in the summer. An outdoor Chiminera is available for use with care in the evenings, together with a BBQ.
The village of Blythburgh is well known for its church known locally as 'The Cathedral on the Marsh' and for its carved angels on the ceiling. The village also has a shop, post office and pub providing food, a children's play area and a good variety of footpaths along the estuary to Walberswick and Southwold, and also along the River Blyth. The Heritage Coast is famous for its beaches, bird watching and walking but inland there is a wealth of historical towns and villages, beautiful gardens to explore and an excellent range of restaurants and pubs in which to dine.
2 small, well behaved pets are welcome and the following rules must be observed.
Dogs must be under control in the garden because the owners' cat has the run of the whole garden. No animals on the furniture, please, unless you bring your own rugs! Please scoop the poop!
There is parking for one car outside the cottage.

Downstairs WC:WC and hand basin located on the ground floor
General: WiFi. travel cot if required (available to hire)
Outside:A separate garden area has been designed for visitors to Mill End Cottage which is secluded
1 baby or small child welcome. Space available in bedroom but would need to bring own cot and bedding. 2 small, well behaved pets are welcome at £15 per pet. Bed linen and towels are provided, however their is an additional £15.00 charge for hiring linen for sofa bed. No smoking upstairs please.
