Description
Area Type: Coastal
County: Suffolk
Country: England
Postcode: IP18 6UE
Situated in a delightful garden in the middle of the village, this house combines ancient historical and architectural interest, with contemporary design and colour added during the recent renovation of the property.
The heavily timbered sitting room with its inglenook fireplace and open fire creates a cosy atmosphere for winter evenings, whilst providing a cool retreat during the heat of the summer months - okay, occasional summer days! The hallway is also heavily timbered with a turned staircase with good handrail and access, and goes up to the first floor and the bedrooms. The heavily timbered Master bedroom is very atmospheric with its huge 6' four poster bed, whilst all the other bedrooms are good sizes too. Two bathrooms provide ample facilities for this house which sleeps up to 9
The back of the house has been updated with a more modern addition and the kitchen and dining room have been renovated in the last few weeks to provide up to date and contemporary furnishings and fittings.

Reviews:The house is quite magical. We loved the garden and the new appliances were really appreciated. Beds a bit hard! Mrs Bartlett. June 2009.
