This pretty cottage is situated in the thriving village of Wangford, next to the road to the delightful seaside town of Southwold and offers simple and comfortable accommodation throughout the year. The delightful village of Wangford just 3 miles from Southwold and the Suffolk Heritage Coast. Aldeburgh, famous for its music festival, and The Maltings at Snape with its concert hall and craft centres are nearby. Fishing, bird watching at Minsmere, golf, riding, tennis and sailing are available locally in this Area Of Natural Beauty. Pub and shop with post office with in store bakery open 7 days. Farm shop and nursery 150 yards selling fresh locally grown produce.
The garden is a feature of this property and is a delightful cottage garden and is shared with the owners who live in the adjoining cottage; they like children! The garden is enclosed and is large enough for the parking of two cars. French doors from the house open onto the garden and ramp access is available if required.
The kitchen is well furnished with fitted units and dining table and chairs, with plenty of storage space.
The sitting room has comfortable furniture, TV, DVD and video and plenty of books and games for the whole family.
The ground floor single bedroom is suitable for those with mobility difficulties and is close to the bathroom, which has a bath with shower over, WC, handbasin, grab rails and is decorated with beautiful tiles on the walls.
Upstairs, accessed by steep stairs with high risers, as these older cottages tend to favour, are 2 single bedrooms and double bedroom with a z-bed for an extra person, if needed.
