Description
Area Type: Countryside
County: Suffolk
Country: England
Postcode: IP19 0BG

Grove Farm Barn is a traditional timber framed barn set in the grounds of the owners' beautiful timber framed farmhouse and gardens, which is surrounded by peaceful and beautiful undulating Suffolk countryside where visitors can enjoy walking and cycling through the quiet lanes.
Further a field are a great variety of pretty market towns, the closest being Halesworth which has a fine selection of shops selling local produce, public houses selling local Adnams and other locally brewed beers which also serve good food, plus a superb choice of shops ranging from vintage clothes, antiques, books, gifts and cards, plus the bi-monthly farmers market. Many of the other local towns have Farmers Markets including Bungay, Beccles, Southwold and Framlingham which offer a wonderful range of produce without the packaging - bring your own bags!
Art and drama feature highly in this part of the world with the Fisher Theatre in Bungay, the Cut in Halesworth, Jill Freud's Summer Theatres at Southwold and Aldeburgh and various outdoor musical events throughout the summer including the Latitude Festival at Henham.
With the Suffolk Heritage Coast only a 20 minute drive from the Barn, visitors are in easy reach of several of Suffolk's most important conservation areas including the RSPB at Minsmere, Dunwich Heath and the Hen Reed Beds near Southwold. In the other direction is Suffolk Wildlife's Lopham Fen and in the north of the county are Carlton Marshes, which is on the edge of the world famous Norfolk Broads.
