The Old Stables comprise a courtyard of two cottages sleeping two people (one with disabled access) and two cottages sleeping four people and offer visitors a delightful and very comfortable rural hideaway from which to explore the Suffolk countryside and coastline.
Fleetwood (with disabled access) is named after another Lord of the Manor, General Fleetwood, who was married to Oliver Cromwell's daughter Bridget. This cottage has an en suite wet room with shower and bath and is suitable for wheelchair users. The twin bedroom has 3' beds and an en suite shower room.
Each cottage has a patio garden area with garden furniture and a shared barbeque is available. The Old Dairy houses a shared laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer.
Visitors are also invited to visit the Wissett Lodge Museum, which is a collection of farming and domestic memorabilia collected by the owners of the farm, and a collection of horse shoes which dates from medieval times to the end of the farm horse era. Many of the fascinating exhibits will rekindle happy memories of bygone days.
