    Self Catering National Quality Assurance Standard RatingNestling in the pretty north Suffolk country side, this cottage is ideally located for exploring the wide variety of interesting places in this part of East Anglia, including castles and historic houses at Bungay and Framlingham, Somerleyton, Sandringham and Ickworth; beautiful gardens at Blickling Hall, Bressingham and The Old Vicarage Garden and East Ruston and pretty seaside towns and villages of Southwold, Aldeburgh, Walberswick, Happisburgh, Blakeney, Holkham and Cley.

    For children, there are Bewilderwood www.bewilderwood.co.uk and Go Ape www.goape.co.uk for the adventurous, plus Pettits Farm and Gressenhall Rural Life Museum www.getalifeguide.co.uk, plus the beaches, rivers and the Norfolk Broads to explore.

    The award winning market towns of Bungay, Beccles and Halesworth offer a wide variety of local produce, excellent restaurants, art galleries, theatres and excellent clothes and gift shops to interest everyone, plus a huge variety of entertainment during the summer from village fetes to music festivals www.latitudefestival.co.uk and www.giginthepark.co.uk

    The rural setting of the cottage offers half an acre of grounds with space for ball games and a spinney and mature hedges for attracting wildlife. Frequent visitors include woodpeckers, finches, blackcaps, skylarks, chiffchaffs, tits, jays, ducks and owls. The well marked footpaths accessible from the cottage provide visitors with relaxing walks or bike rides. Trout fishing is available in nearby fishing lakes at St Nicholas and the owners of the cottages can arrange a visit for you.

    The excellent restaurant at St Peters Brewery is a good walk away but the owners of the cottages, may be able to provide a taxi service, www.stpetershallsuffolk.co.uk

    Bedroom 1:single bedded room on ground floor with chest of drawers, wardrobe, bedside tables and lamps and en suite wet room with WC and handbasin, suitable for those with limited mobility. Disabled access assessment awaited.

    Family bathroom:bath with shower over, WC and handbasin
    Outside: ample parking, shared laundry facilities in adjacent garage block with washing machine, drying facilities, wash basin and worktop, fridge with large freezer space, boiler. Paved terrace with garden furniture overlooking fenced wildlife pond, children should be supervised. Large meadow area for ball games and second paved seating area.

    Bed linen and towels are provided. Cot, high chair and stairgate is available to use, please let us know at time of booking if required. Disability equipment is available on request for the wet room (which is a shower chair and frame) but as their is only one set for the two properties, please let us know at time of booking. Shared Hot Tub available to use. Plus 2 Tandems and other cycles to suit all ages and ability. Dragonfly and Brambles can be hired together to accommodate 10 people and doing so, a discount is applicable if you book them both together.
