The villages of Sibton and Peasenhall meet at the Yox River and share within walking distance, the superb facillities of the White Horse pub in Sibton and the excellent produce of a butchers shop, tearoom, village shop and post office, Emmetts Delicatessen see www.emmettsham.co.uk and a couple of interesting antique and craft shops, with the Yoxford Antiques Centre just a short drive away.
All these amenities make a stay at Cardinal Cottage a delightful experience and with the Heritage Coast only a short drive away to Aldeburgh and Southwold, you will have all the ingredients for a lovely coast and country holiday.
The cottage was renovated a few years ago by the owners who live next door and who keep the cottage in very good decorative order and provide a warm welcome to their visitors, many of whom return year after year.
The living accommodation is spacious with separate sitting room, dining room and kitchen and a spacious hall. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable with plenty of storage and a wealth of original beams creating a lovely ambience.
The garden is maturing well having been designed and planted shortly after the cottage was completed and garden furniture is provided for outdoor entertainment.
