The Old Stables comprise a courtyard of single storey cottages, two cottages sleeping two people and two cottages sleeping four people (one with disabled access) and offer visitors a delightful and very comfortable rural hideaway from which to explore the Suffolk countryside and coastline.
Bloomsbury, named after members of the Bloomsbury set who lived at Wissett Lodge in 1916, sleeps 2 in a Queen sized bed with en suite bathroom with shower over the bath.
Each cottage has a patio garden area with garden furniture and a shared barbeque is available. The Old Dairy houses a shared laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer.
Visitors are also invited to visit the Wissett Lodge Museum, which is a collection of farming and domestic memorabilia collected by the owners of the farm, and a collection of horse shoes which dates from medieval times to the end of the farm horse era. Many of the fascinating exhibits will rekindle happy memories of bygone days.
