Customer Reviews"Arlie is one of the nicest cottages we have stayed in. It is very well equipped- everything from a cot to garden furniture. The garden is a lovely place to sit with a drink after soaking up the delights of this part of Suffolk. It is very well placed for walks into the country, the Norfolk Broads, birdwatching at the nature reserve or a trip into nearby Southwold and Aldeburgh. We would have no reservations about recommending this charming cottage." Annee and Henry Leveson-Gore. 2009.
"We had a wonderful stay at Arlie. It is a comfortable, well equipped cottage, ideally placed for Southwold and neighbouring villages and a good base for exploring this part of Suffolk or a quiet restful retreat from the city. We particularly enjoyed the local pub with its organic and free range food... We will be back!" Mrs Eve Williams, London. 2009
"We rented Arlie Cottage on several occasions and we have always found it to be pleasant and comfortable. The cottage is in a beautiful rural area with easy access to Southwold and the surrounding villages. It is very well equipped for self catering and has a beautiful garden, peaceful and colourful throughout the year. We recommend Arlie if you need a quiet and relaxing holiday in one of the most beautiful areas of coastal Suffolk." Gabrielle and Mihai. 2009.
"We found Arlie a perfect retreat from London and enjoyed being without a car during our stay. It was very easy to arrive with our bikes on the train from London and cycle the 2 miles to the cottage from Halesworth station. We were able to explore the area at our leisure and visited Southwold and the bird sanctuary. We also caught the local bus which runs almost outside the front door and goes from Southwold to Halesworth." Robin and Claudine, London. 2009.
"A lovely cosy cottage and perfect for the Halesworth Arts Festival and Latitude Festival just down the road. We also enjoyed relaxing in the little garden and especially look forward to sampling the fruit trees when they start producing (at the kind invitation of the owners!). A beautiful spot for relaxing, walking and enjoying all that Suffolk has to offer." Andree Shrivell, Norfolk. 2009.
