Description
Area Type: Coastal
County: Suffolk
Country: England
Postcode: NR34 8RH
Newly built in the spring of 2008, this house combines well designed accommodation and superb furnishings and fittings to provide a comfortable holiday house in an ideal village close to the Suffolk Heritage Coast.
This house has gas central heating plus a lovely woodburning stove for cosy evenings, lounging on the three comfortable sofas and watching Freeview channels on the latest state of the art TV.
The owners made a few changes to the layout of the bedrooms when the house was in the construction stages to allow for both double bedrooms to have their own ensuite bath/shower room facilities, together with a large family bathroom and plenty of storage space. The house is ideal for families or a group of friends looking to explore the lovely Suffolk Heritage Coast and beyond.
The village has an excellent range of facilities with a very well stocked shop plus a farm shop, two pubs, playing field and childrens play area with a wide range of equipment. Well marked footpaths for walking with or without dogs all around the village and beyond, with the well known Suffolk Wildlife site at Reydon Wood being only a short walk from the village. This wood is famous for its birds and its carpets of bluebells in May - it is just lovely. Further afield are a variety of Wildlife sites at Walberswick, Lopham Fen, various areas of the Norfolk Broads which are all within easy driving distance. See: www.wangfordweb.co.uk and www.suffolkwildlifetrust.org
The lovely seaside town of Southwold offers a good beach, the famous Pier, extensive and exclusive shopping, superb restaurants and pubs and of course, the world famous Adnams beer and wine. www.southwold-scene.com and www.beerfromthecoast.co.uk.
This is a pet friendly house and the integral garage is the ideal place for their accommodation with wire dog cages available for use. However, please make sure that you scoop the poop in the gardens.
