The cottage makes an ideal base for walkers or cyclists exploring this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with its attractive towns and villages, coastline and countryside, castles and cathedrals. Children are well catered for with a variety of beaches, theme parks, rivers and meares as well as points of historic interest like Sutton Hoo and Snape Maltings, which are short drive away. The seaside town of Aldeburgh offers good shops, restaurants, golf, beach, sailing, a delightful cinema and internationally famous Music Festivals held throughout the year in Aldeburgh and Snape. This town is a mecca for sailors too, especially in August for the Regatta. Fresh fish can be purchased direct from the fishermen's huts on the beach.
A wonderfully well stocked farm shop is only two miles away at Friday Street.
