Thorpeness is a delightful village which was originally built as a holiday village by Glen Stuart Ogilvie in 1928 and boasts mock 'Tudor' buildings and cottages and a wonderful 70 acre Mere dotted with small islands and inlets, where sailing dingies and Indian canoes can be hired from Easter to October. The village also has a pub, grocery shop stocking good local produce, coffee house/cafe and Country Club where tennis courts can be hired and a variety of entertainment can be enjoyed during the summer. Golf is available at the excellent Thorpeness Golf Club (handicap required).

Bedroom 1: Double bedroom with twin zip and link bed making up a 6' double bed, handbasin, wardrobe and chest of drawers, beach views
Bedroom 2: Twin beds, chest of drawers, wardrobe, handbasin and window seat with a beach view
Bedroom 3: Bunk beds and single futon, handbasin and chest of drawers
Bedroom 4:Single bed with chest of drawers, hand basin and chair bed
Bedroom 5:Bunk beds, long mirror, shelves and a small cupboard
Kitchen:Gas cooker, large fridge/freezer, microwave, gas central heating, washing machine, dishwasher, Magimix, iron and ironing board, view to beach
Dining Room:Open plan with views to the beach and the sea, and a table which extends to seat from 6 to 16 people
Sitting Room: Gas fire and gas central heating, small TV plus DVD player, and radio/CD player and a good supply of box games. Sliding doors leading out on to the verandah and steps leading down into the garden and to the beach, fenced with gate
Bathroom: with handbasin, WC and bath.
Shower room: shower cubicle, WC, handbasin and airing cupboard.
Garden:2 picnic tables with benches are provided. The garden is well fenced with a gate leading out to the beach.
